Lake Ontario

While Lake Ontario may be our smallest Great Lake, on a global scale it is huge and magnificent. I suppose I’ve spent the most time on the shoreline right in downtown Toronto (okay I’m a city girl and art lover so you’ll often find me in art museums and galleries). I did get out to the Toronto islands and have learned quite a bit about their formation. I haven’t quite figured out how to circle this lake because I want to end by following the St. Lawrence River to the end of the watershed and on to the Atlantic Ocean. I have the Beluga whales and the effects of our outfalls on my mind.
